Named as Motor Trend Truck of the Year, the 2018 Ford F-150 is sporting a payload of innovative features and a five-star safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
Its SuperCrew body earned this rating from NHTSA. It has the same aluminum alloy as the high-grade series utilized in big industrial applications. Distinct to F-150 Raptor is its twin-turbo, intercooled DOHC 24-valve, 3.5L EcoBoost with port fuel and direct injection system. Its EcoBoost generates more power compared to the previous 6.2L V8 with its 450 horsepower and 510 lb.-ft. of torque.
The F-150 Raptor has technology that allows for variable damping rates based on wheel travel that brings an excellent off-road performance and smooth ride on-road. Aside from its standard entertainment system, it has an optional Kicker Subwoofer and voice-activated navigation.
