The all-wheel drive sports car with 292 horsepower previously came with five basic color options -- blue, red, black, gray and white. But now the Volkswagen Golf R will make sure you stand out from the crowd. You can choose from the 40 custom colors that will be painted straight from the factory. Unlike paint jobs done at most body shops, yours will be painted by robots. Plus, it won’t require extra preparation work to change the color.
For only $2,500, you can have your own customized colors. Most of the colors available are said to pay homage to heritage vehicles, according to Volkswagen. Among classic colors include Viper Green, Deep Blue Pear, Ginster Yellow and Mars Red.
