Chevrolet offers the new Colorado ZR2 Bison as part of their mid-sized pickup lineup.

The ZR2 Bison is part of Chevy’s collaboration with American Expedition Vehicles (AEV), with excellent off-road performance in mind. As a result of continued innovation, Chevrolet has gained more than 25 percent of the total market’s mid-sized pickup sales within four years.

Sandor Piszar, marketing director of chevrolet truck, said people are now “discovering that Colorado is ideal for off-roading, especially overland travel.”

On the other hand, Dave Harriton, founder and president of AEV, said “Colorado drivers will love the added ruggedness of our front and rear bumpers on ZR2 Bison.”

Other features included on the Colorado ZR2 Bison include front and rear locking electric differentials, multi-matic DSSV dampers, off-road rocker protection, cast-iron control arms, and Autotrac transfer case. The Bison is also available in 2.8L Duramax Turbo-Diesel engine with six-speed automatic transmission, 186 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque, and choice of a crew or extended cab configurations.
