The 2019 Honda Insight’s release date is yet to come, but the excitement is growing.

This futuristic-looking, hybrid sedan has a lot to offer -- a mobile hotspot capability, a 450-watt premium audio system, a flying wing grill, standard LED headlights, and a sensing safety suite. However, the most impressive aspect of the Insight is its fuel economy ratings.

The Insight is powered by a two-motor hybrid system generating 151 net horsepower. The Insight LX and Insight EX can achieve 55 miles per gallon, while the Insight Touring goes at 51 miles per gallon.

“The Honda Insight shows consumers that the efficiency of a hybrid car doesn’t mean sacrificing style, refinement or performance," American Honda Motor Co. Senior Vice President Henio Arcangeli Jr. said. "The Insight is another symbol of a new era in the evolution of Honda electrified vehicles, where customers can have everything they want with no compromises.”
