Chelsea Bancroft, who is in charge of the company's strategic partnerships and social media, recently told MegaDealer News about some of the social media strategies the business uses to do outreach.
"We use Facebook and Twitter," Bancroft said. "It helps us to connect to our customers more. We post relevant articles all the time."
Roger Beasley also has other campaigns that bring more value to people who are looking to better understand what's happening under the hoods of their cars.
The dealership posts a regular feature to social media that explains a particular vehicle dashboard light.
The process, Bancroft said, takes some research.
"Each week, we post a new one," Bancroft, who joined Roger Beasley last fall, said. "I have an online list of all the icons and what they mean."
Having easy, clickable social media posts to help customers figure out their check engine light or tire pressure monitor can have a big impact on outreach marketing and really help car owners out.
Roger Beasley also provides entertainment and rewards through its social media campaigns.
Bancroft explained that the company gives away tickets online to University of Texas events through its Facebook page.
"People love winning the tickets," Bancroft said. "I notify them on Facebook; they message back; and we arrange how they can pick the tickets up at the dealership."
Roger Beasley Mazda is currently running a campaign to give away a free car on its Facebook page.
