A recent Fremont Motors blog post shares how to use Ford's dynamic hitch assist, a feature found on some 2015 and later truck models.

Hooking up a trailer to a hitch can be tricky, especially if it's your first time or if you're attempting it alone. Dynamic hitch assist makes it a lot easier. This feature adds a black line that's visible to the backup camera display, which comes in handy for using the hitch. The line changes based on the steering angle, making it easier to ensure the hitch lines up with the trailer as you back up. This way, a spotter isn't necessary.

The backup camera screen also offers a zoom feature, accessible via the magnifying glass icon on the screen. This offers all the detail necessary to line the hitch and trailer up.

Fremont Motors also offers a video of dynamic hitch assist in use at https://tap.fremontmotors.com/trusted-auto-professionals/ford-dynamic-hitch-assist.

Dynamic hitch assist is not the same as the pro trailer backup assist feature, which is more elaborate.
