Chevrolet unveiled plans for its new 2019 Silverado 1500 at a recent Chevy Truck Centennial Celebration event, according to the Graff Mount Pleasant website.
Chevy surveyed more than 7,000 Chevy truck owners, seeking input on features they'd like to see in this new Silverado. The 2019 version has a higher grade alloy metal used for the truck bed, making the bed both lightweight and durable.
As many as eight different Silverado models may be released for the 2019 model year, according to the post. Each model would be designed for specific purposes, such as off-road driving.
The 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 will officially debut at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
