Morgan Auto Group, based in Tampa, has moved up to rank 28 in the Automotive News' Top 100 used car dealers list, according to a press release on the Morgan Auto Group website.
Morgan previously ranked 53rd on the list published by the specialty magazine.
Morgan also ranks fourth out of all used car dealers in Florida, behind Greenway of Orlando, Rick Case in South Florida and Stallupi Auto Group on the East Coast, the release said.
Morgan Auto Group Chairman Larry Morgan credits the company's success to competitive pricing and various improvements to the shopping portion of its website. Last year, Morgan Auto Group sold more than 17,000 pre-owned vehicles.
Morgan Auto Group has 23 different dealership locations, specializing in vehicle brands such as Toyota, Ford, BMW and Kia.
