Former NIADA, TIADA, HIADA exec 'Farm' Davis passes away at 91

John Thomas (J.T.) Davis, affectionately known as "Farm," passed away peacefully at the age of 91 on Jan. 27.

During his more than 30 years in the automotive dealership business, he was elected to serve in multiple leadership and executive roles including National Independent Automobile Dealers Association (NIADA) vice president, Texas (TIADA) vice president and Houston (HIADA) president.

J.T.'s unwavering passion to help anyone and everyone, on top of his dependability, great ethics and integrity, set him apart and earned him the "Quality Dealer of Texas" honor by TIADA.

He will also be remembered as a gentle, hard-working man with good leadership, a positive outlook and a constant smile.
