AutoNation wrapped up Sandra Barringer’s 2020 with an unforgettable gift.

Barringer lost her 29-year old daughter, Kylie on Jan. 15, 2020, making it hard for her to go through the challenging year.

AutoNation stepped up to help Sandra upon knowing that she could not afford the buyout purchase price of her 2018 Ford Focus. AutoNation took over monthly payments on her behalf during the pandemic.

She and Kylie attended a Tampa Bay Rays vs. Miami Marlins game in 2018 where each fan was automatically entered into the Marlins Year of the Fan Sweepstakes for a chance to win a 24-month, low-mileage lease from an AutoNation owned dealership; a Ford Focus (approximate MSRP of $21,120) prize made that game memorable for the Barringers.

In July 2020, the lease term concluded and Sandra reached out to the Marlins in hopes to find assistance on how she could keep the car, according to AutoNation.

AutoNation will also be offering Sandra 12 months of sanitization for her vehicle.

Watch how AutoNation Ford St. Petersburg gladly presented the great news to Sandra so she could keep her car and Kylie’s memories altogether.
