Zeigler Auto Group names its first Rising Tech Award winner.

Established in 2019, the Rising Tech Award distinguishes the auto group’s rising service talent.

Alex Gramza is the inaugural winner for the award. He is a service technician from Zeigler Ford of Lowell and isn’t new to being recognized at Zeigler Auto Group. He was also included in the 2019 Top 15 Domestic Techs list for the whole dealer group.

Gramza was nominated to the 2020 Rising Tech Award by service manager Kevin Mangus after spending 2,401 hours last year working diligently.

To be considered a candidate for the recognition, service technicians are evaluated based on various criteria such as attitude, work ethic and average working hours.

Technicians are nominated by their managers and are also considered based on how long they have been with the industry, for this instance, they should be new with at least nine months, but no more than two years of non-lube, technical experience reported, according to zeigler.com.      

"Zeigler is a great place to work. People are nice and helpful. They really help you get stuff done and you really do learn a lot," Gramza said.
