Freestone Auto Group merges with Foundation Automotive

Foundation Automotive is proud to announce its acquisition of the Freestone Auto Group.

Freestone consists of three dealerships, all of which are located in Fairfield, Texas servicing the Fairfield, Teague, Athens, Corsicana, Mexia, Palestine and Buffalo area carrying the brands of Chevrolet, Ford, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram.

Kevin Kutschinski, CEO and President of Foundation, is also happy to announce that Stacy Dodd will be staying on in her leadership role of Freestone. She purchased the Chevrolet dealership in 2001, bought the Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram dealership in 2011, and then the Ford store in 2018.

Additionally, Freestone provides custom commercial work truck solutions via The Service Truck Depot which is also located in Fairfield.

"We pleased to welcome the Freestone team to our organization," said Chuck Kramer, Chief Operating Officer. "This acquisition will extend our reach on the I-45 North corridor between the cities of Houston and Dallas."

Dodd also said she looks forward to working with Foundation Automotive.
