Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land President Kenneth Enders recently announced that the dealership will provide a $1,000 bonus to all of their 153 employees.
In an open letter to Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land employees, Enders expressed his appreciation of the commitment and determination demonstrated by the team.
As an essential business, the Texas dealership remains open. However, Enders recognizes that the coronavirus pandemic has affected the employees and their families, which drove the management team to issue the bonus.
“Where others have chosen layoffs and furloughs as a path, Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land realizes that our employees are our company, the single most valuable asset that we have, and I am determined to do whatever is necessary to take care of this very special family,” Enders said. “My hope is that this bonus will assist you and your family in some small way."
