Peacock Automotive and Peacock Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram FIAT, together with WSAV, recently surprised Lowcountry Dress For Success by donating a $250 gift card as part of their Pay It Forward program.
Dennis Aberle, general sales manager at Peacock Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram FIAT, shared how exciting it was to be able to give back to the Dress For Success because it’s for the kids.
“Myself just moving in from New York with and my two little girls, I know how expensive and overwhelming it could be to go school shopping for uniforms and it’s pricey, so it is exciting to be able to give back to the kids in the neighborhood that do need it," he said on a video shared on Peacock Automotive's YouTube page.
“We really feel that we are not just giving uniforms to kids but we are giving them dignity. We love that when the kids are at school, they may not have much when they go home, but at least when they are in school they can look like everybody else and hopefully perform and focus on their education,” said Erin Ussery, one of the founders of Dress For Success.
