Crown Automotive Group founder and CEO to be inducted into the Tampa Business Hall of Fame

Dwayne Hawkins, founder and CEO of Crown Automotive Group is among the four leaders who will be inducted as the Class of 2020 at the 33rd Annual Tampa Bay Business Hall of Fame on Thursday, March 26 at the Tampa Convention Center, according to a Crown press release.

Jim Myers, president and COO of Crown Automotive Group, shared how delighted and proud he was of this recognition for Dwayne Hawkins

"I can't tell you how proud all of us here at Crown are of Dwayne. His dedication and vision continue to inspire us to reach new levels as individuals, and as a company," said Myers said in the release.

Kevin Hawkins, executive director at Crown Automotive and Dwayne's son, was equally thrilled. 

"I'm absolutely thrilled to see him honored," Kevin Hawkins said. "My father has spent most of his life giving to our community. Seeing him recognized with so many great leaders here really means a lot to me, Dwayne and our family."

Since 1988 the Tampa Bay Business Hall of Fame has been honoring outstanding individuals who’ve created notable influences through their business and civic achievements and contributions to the community.

The Florida Council on Economic Education (FCEE) will co-chair the 33rd annual Hall of Fame.
