American car buyers can expect the 2020 Honda Civic Type R to start arriving at Honda dealerships later this month with some significant changes and a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $36,995 (not including taxes and destination), slightly higher than the price of the prior year's model.
The 2020 Honda Civic Type R comes with standard Honda Sensing safety and driver-assistive technology, an improved braking with its new two-piece front brake disc, and enhanced cooling of its engine brought about by its expanded grille opening, side mirrors with LED turn indicators, and a Boost Blue color option.
The 2020 model year also received a new interior styling with the new Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel, a new shift lever with a restyled knob and sueded shift boot.
Additionally, arriving this spring is Honda's first-ever performance datalogging app, Honda LogR, which is available exclusively for use with Civic Type R.
