Hyundai lands nine Top Safety awards from Insurance Institute for Highway Safety

Nine Hyundai vehicle models were recently recognized by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) as Top Safety Pick+ and Top Safety Pick award-winners.

The Hyundai Nexo earned a Top Safety Pick+ award for the midsize luxury SUV category and eight more Hyundai vehicles earned a Top Safety Pick award in their respective categories. Hyundai Top Safety Pick SUV winners are Kona with optional front crash protection and specific headlights, Tucson with optional front crash protection and specific headlights, Palisade with specific headlights, and Santa Fe with specific headlights.

Elantra with optional front crash protection and specific headlights was a Top Safety Pick award-winner, as were the Elantra GT with optional front crash protection and specific headlights, Veloster with optional front crash protection and specific headlights and Sonata with specific headlights.

Hyundai tied with Subaru for the most combined Top Safety Pick+ and Top Safety Pick award-winning vehicles.
