Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross earns five-star safety rating

The 2020 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross recently earned a Five-Star Overall Safety Rating by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

The Eclipse Cross passed NHTSA’s crash test with flying colors in all categories. It received a five out of five overall front star rating – four out of five in front driver side, and five out of five in front passenger side; five out of five overall side star rating – five out of five in combined side barrier and pole ratings, front seat and rear seat, side barrier-driver and rear passenger, and overall side-pole star rating; and four out of five rollover star rating. 

"The safety of our customers on the road is of the utmost importance to us, and receiving a five-star rating from the NHTSA validates our engineers' efforts to design the highest level of quality and safety into every vehicle we build," Mitsubishi Motors North America Director of Product Planning Cason Grover said in a press release. "Eclipse Cross continues to offer consumers an impressive combination of value, performance and dependability, along with top-level safety scores."
