Architect of Subaru's 'Love' campaign ranks 10th on MotorTrend's 2020 Power List

Subaru of America Senior Vice President of Marketing Alan Bethke has earned a top-10 spot in the recently published MotorTrend 2020 Power List of 50 key players in the automotive industry.

Bethke, at No. 10, was acclaimed for driving Subaru’s long-running and highly successful “Love” campaign but he, in turn, says the campaign's success clearly stems from the automaker’s dedication to delivering cars that consumers can't help but love.      

"It is an honor to be included in the MotorTrend Power List," Bethke said in a press release. "This award is symbolic of the hard work and dedication from our marketing team, as well as our advertising agency Carmichael Lynch and other marketing partners who continue to grow the Subaru brand. This year's MotorTrend Power List was headed by Hyundai Motor Group President and Head of Design Management Pete Schreyer, the 2020 Person of the Year.
