Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA) reported 5,447 vehicle sales for October 2019, a 13.1-percent increase compared to October 2018, and year-to-date sales of 50,509 vehicles for a 6.5-percent gain year-over-year.

October retail sales of the Porsche 911 increased by 65 percent from a year ago while Macan had a 19.2-percent gain from October 2018. PCNA also reported 2,138 Porsche Approved Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicle October sales for a growth of 24.6 percent year-over-year.

"I think our customers appreciate the range of model choices we offer, whether they are excited by the latest generation of our iconic 911 or an SUV with the heart of a sports car," Klaus Zellmer, president and CEO of PCNA, said in a press release. "Adding the all-electric Taycan to our portfolio gives those customers even more options for Porsche thrills once we start deliveries late this year."
