Honda features collision survivors in new Safety for Everyone campaign

Honda launched its Safety for Everyone Customer Stories campaign last week, featuring customers who credit their vehicles' performance and safety features for saving their lives from major collision events.

The campaign will run through 2020 across Honda social channels and on video-on-demand (VoD).

Nicole Hart’s account from her April 2019 collision is the first story featured in the campaign. In a Facebook post and a letter to Honda, she recalls her severe crash after she reached for a tissue while driving her 2018 HR-V.

Hart's vehicle hit a utility trailer towed by a pickup truck and her Honda HR-V rolled over multiple times. She walked away with only a sprained wrist and minor cuts and bruises, crediting the engineering design of her Honda vehicle for her survival.

"I truly believe your well-built vehicle saved my life," she wrote in her letter.

The HondaLink and HondaLink Assist are two of Honda’s safety technologies that can help passengers in collision scenarios.

More videos in the Safety for Everyone Customer Stories series will be released in the coming weeks, featuring onscreen interviews with family members directly impacted by the safety and well-being of a Honda customer involved in a collision.
