International Wheel & Tire received a Wheel and Tire World Excellence Award from the Ford Motor Company during the 21st annual Ford World Excellence Awards held in Dearborn, Michigan.
“Because of the team we have put together, and their hard work in creating innovative solutions for our clients, we have been very successful,” said IWT CEO Netresh Rege. “We are extremely proud of the quality of the products we provide to Ford Motor Company and are humbled by this recognition. It is our pleasure to work with the very knowledgeable and collaborative team at Ford.”
The recognition as a top-performing global supplier was presented to IWT by Hau Thai-Tang, Ford chief product development and purchasing officer, and Linda Cash, Ford vice president for quality and new model programs.
“Ford's annual World Excellence Awards recognize our top-performing suppliers for their contributions to our success,” he said.
The top-performing suppliers play an instrumental role in helping Ford achieve its vision of being the most trusted mobility company, he added.
