Alpine Electronics of America named GM Supplier of the Year for fifth time

Alpine Electronics of America is General Motors’ Supplier of the Year. The award was given to Alpine Electronics during the 27th annual Supplier of the Year awards ceremony in Detroit.

This is the fifth time Alpine Electronics of America, an Alps Alpine Group company, received the award from General Motors.

“We are delighted and honored to receive this award from General Motors,” said Cameron Hosner, Alpine Electronics of America vice president for the OEM business unit. “It came as a result of our strong efforts together to realize great products, and we look forward to continuing to deliver with excellence into the future.”

The award is a reflection of consistently exceeding GM's expectations, and winners were chosen based on performance criteria in Customer Care and Aftersales, Product Purchasing, Global Purchasing and Manufacturing Services, and Logistics.

“We hold our suppliers to a high bar,” said Steve Kiefer, GM senior vice president for global purchasing and supply chain. “They went above and beyond to deliver the innovations and quality that will help us earn customers for life.”
