World Class Automotive Group’s dealerships earn second straight J.D. Power Dealer of Excellence Program certification

Several World Class Automotive Group dealerships have been certified for the second consecutive year in the J.D. Power 2019 Dealer of Excellence Program.

According to a press release issued by WCAG, Planet Ford in Spring, Texas; Planet Ford in Humble, Texas; Prestige Ford in Garland, Texas; and Park Cities Ford in Dallas earned the certification for providing exceptional customer service.

WCAG founder, chairman, and CEO Randall Reed told Mega Dealer News that he and his company are very proud of the “unprecedented achievement.”

“We’re the only Ford dealer in Texas to win two years running in all of our stores,” said Reed. “That was quite the achievement and just a testament to the incredible talent and people that run the World Class Automotive Group [and] my partners at each of these dealerships that take care of business each and every day. That’s what it’s all about — making sure the business is taken care of, the customers are satisfied and happy, and everything takes care of itself.”

The dealership group met the Dealer of Excellence program’s three-step criteria. It placed among dealerships from top-performing brands, ranked among its brand’s top performers in key customer satisfaction areas consistent with measurements found in the J.D. Power U.S. Sales Satisfaction Index Study SM, and passed an audit to show it met or exceeded J.D. Power sales best practices.

Reed stated that when he started WCAG 32 years ago, he based the business on a foundation of customer service.

“We have a great team and great people that care,” he said. “Without a doubt, [we] couldn’t do it each and every one of the team members because it takes a whole dealership and all employees to make things happen.”

Describing himself as a “proud papa” when discussing his dealerships’ recent accomplishments, Reed said that “we’re just going to keep doing things right” in an effort to earn a third consecutive Dealer of Excellence certification.

“We don’t deviate ever from the process,” he said. “The mission is always customer service first. We don’t ever think about profitability or return on investment until we think about customer satisfaction, and more important to us, [is] employee satisfaction.”

Reed added that WCAG is proud of having one of the lowest turnovers in any dealership group in the country.
