Formerly Porsche of Rancho Mirage, Porsche Palm Springs is indiGO Auto Group’s new facility, a prototype for Porsche’s next-generation showroom design, the first-of-its-kind in the world.
Situated at 3737 East Palm Canyon Dr., Porsche Palm Springs is adjacent to indiGO Auto Group’s BMW of Palm Springs dealership. With a larger area compared to its old facility, it can offer roughly 30 to 40 percent more inventory, intensifying the Porsche experience.
The innovative facility was a result of a vision between Porsche and indiGO.
“We were approached by Porsche to be a part of something truly special and historic. What began as a vision has evolved into something that has exceeded all of our expectations and frankly, our wildest dreams,” Todd Blue, founder and CEO of indiGO Auto Group, recalled.
“Led by our passion for Porsche, we are honored to offer Southern Californians a new level of Porsche immersion and innovation, along with exclusive opportunities to interact with the brand unlike any other Porsche dealership on the planet,” Blue added.
The next-generation Porsche facility building is LEED-certified and would be utilizing solar power, and is designed to retail and service the new Taycan, Porsche’s first all-electric vehicle slated to be released in 2020.
Porsche Palm Springs clients and guests will be welcomed by a walkable road that would lead them through the tactfully designed facility that would transport them to an amazing Porsche journey. It will also provide the desert’s first-ever Porsche indoor air-conditioned reception lanes for service pick up and drop off, and will also feature indiGO’s first-ever indoor hand wash bays. Benefiting the customers are the inclusion of 16 service bays and two additional electric bays that will decrease the client’s waiting time.
The ultimate luxury retail shopping experience also comes with the world’s first 2nd floor VIP Lounge with a full catering kitchen for small client events and private dinners.
