Mitsubishi named as most improved brand in latest customer satisfaction study

Mitsubishi Motors North America was named the fastest-growing Asian brand in the U.S. for the second consecutive year according to the 2019 J.D. Power Customer Satisfaction Index Study.

The study also said Mitsubishi made it to the 12th position from its last standing in the 27th spot in the overall industry ranking, and was the most improved brand in the industry.

Mitsubishi also made a leap among non-luxury brands, from its 10th position last year to the third position this 2019 and has been named top non-premium Asian brand.

“Customer satisfaction is a core value at Mitsubishi Motors, and our performance in the J.D. Power CSI Study over the last two years is testament to our focus on it. We do this for one reason only: to give our customers the very best experience we can at every touch point with our company,” said Mark Chaffin, chief operating officer for MMNA. “This is a huge success for MMNA, and all credit is due to our tremendous dealer body and the service-aftersales teams at headquarters and in our regions.”

The brand has shown a significant improvement in the customer satisfaction study between 2016 and 2019.

The fastest-growing Asian brand in the U.S. label was based on Motor Intelligence calendar years 2017 and 2018 sales by manufacturer data and excludes premium brands.
