Tow and haul with strength and confidence with the 2019 Ram 1500’s 12,750-pounds, best-in-class V8 engine towing capacity and a maximum payload of 2,300 pounds.

That power -- and the truck's added durability -- can be attributed to its high-strength steel that comprises 98 percent of the steel used in its frame.

Another feature that has enhanced the 2019 Ram 1500’s performance, towing capability and payload is its eTorque mild hybrid system. It is an 8-volt, battery-powered, belt-driven motor generator that has replaced the traditional alternator. The eTorque technology also offers an increased fuel economy, regenerative braking and a start/stop technology.

The new Ram 1500 has an innovative, sculpted roof design that directs air to the real spoiler. Its elevated hood helps improve air deflection from the wiper area. Overall, the improved aerodynamic allows the truck to get a .357 drag coefficient and the lowest frontal drag coefficient (13.0 CdA) in its class.

Additionally, the Texas Auto Writers Association has named the all-new 2019 Ram 1500 as the Official Truck of Texas.
