Auto Sweet wants to maximize profits for dealerships

An Ohio-based marketing solutions company is positively impacting auto dealerships across the country with increased leads, traffic and sales. 

Chris Lentz, with Auto Sweet, said the company utilizes a digital marketing platform.

“Basically, our toolset is primarily used to publish to marketplaces, like Craig’s List and Facebook,” Lentz said in an interview with Mega Dealers News. “We take inventory and publish it to these different places and drive traffic from those sites to the dealer’s vehicle detail page.”

Lentz said they generate a lot of in-market shoppers because they’re looking for a vehicle at a particular moment and want that vehicle, and are often times very engaged and interested. 

“We track all of the information for them so that the dealership has an idea of what the different platforms are doing, whether they’re marketing on Youtube or Facebook or Craig’s List,” Lentz said. “We measure that information for them so they can identify which of these outlets they’re spending money on are appropriate.”

Auto Sweet works with both franchise dealerships and independent dealerships.

“We work with both of them,” Lentz said. “We are working with about 30 of the top 100 franchise dealerships in the country."

Lentz said the platform works well for both used cars and new cars.

“The Facebook platform has become a powerful way to market new vehicles,” Lentz said. “A lot of times, what we do is drive traffic to the site and then afterward, re-engage with the consumer on Facebook.”

Lentz said the powerful thing about Facebook that they really like is that you can actually target specific demographics.

“You can target people that are like other people that go to your dealership,” Lentz said. “One of the things that we do with the Facebook targeting is because we are Reynolds and CDK certified, is that we have daily access to the DMS data for sales and service data. We can push that into Facebook and create lookalike audiences that actually look like your customer.”

Lentz said the return on investments with Facebook advertising is incredibly high.
