Sneak peek at 2019 Nissan Altima indicates stylish, powerful changes

The much-anticipated 2019 Nissan Altima sedan, the sixth generation of the Altima, is undergoing a complete makeover for its latest model. 

Recently released photos revealed the 2019 Nissan Altima’s new and improved stylish touches and changes to its exterior. However, the change is not solely on its outside. 

The 2019 Nissan Altima offers the 2.5L inline 4 engine as standard engine. It can produce up to 188 horsepower and 180 lb.-ft. of torque. On the other hand, the 2019 Altima’s higher trim levels offer a 2L VC-Turbo turbocharged engine which is lighter but more powerful with its 248 horsepower and 278 lb.-ft. of torque. 

The 2019 Altima has already the Intelligent All-Wheel Drive, which is available on all 2.5L Inline 4 2019 Altima models. In addition, the 2019 Altima applies Nissan’s unique AWD system for optimum performance as well as the Hill Start Assist driver assistance safety feature. 

As for fuel economy, the 2019 Nissan Altima is expected to be the same as the 2018 Altima. With its new 2L VC-Turbo engine, the 2019 Altima is expected to provide a double-digit increase in highway mpg.
