As part of the building Golden Knights fever, Findlay Toyota has teamed with Findlay Customs in a customization project for the 2018 Toyota 4Runner. This collaboration reflects the excitement of fans of the first-year NHL franchise that's advanced to the Stanley Cup finals.
It all started when Findlay Toyota had put VGK wraps on their various vehicles including the 2018 Toyota 4Runner, which was conceptualized by marketing director Stephanie Bernas. The wrapped 4Runner, which was designed by Findlay Customs, is now on sale at Findlay Toyota.
“We have Findlay Customs at Toyota with Stu Brown, who is the service adviser for Customs that helped this creation come together," Jimmy Crook, the social media consultant for Findlay Customs, said. "We lettered the 4Runner and also did the VGK center caps on all four wheels and we also added a VGK sticker kit all the way around the truck.”
Findlay Customs also custom-painted the Toyota badges along with the TRD Pro Grill to match the Golden Knights colors. On the other hand, Findlay Toyota Parts installed the lift and wheels.
Among lettering wraps available include “Vegas Born,” “Knight Up,” and “Vegas Strong,” all of which come with logos on the headrest and on the hood.
According to Brown, the collaboration between the two is “a symbiotic relationship.” At present, Findlay Customs is in expansion mode, adding a new paint booth and plans for the expansion of more than 18,000-square-foot facility next to Findlay Toyota. Once fully built, there will be a red carpet event set for late summer.
