When was the last time you took your car in for a tune-up? Tune-ups are one of the most important pieces of routine maintenance you can do for your car. Unfortunately, many car owners often tend to forget to tune-up their vehicles. Not doing so can cause damage to your vehicle and result in expensive repairs that can empty your pockets.

So, how do you know if it is time for a tune-up?

One tell-tale sign is when your engine starts vibrating when idle, or there’s a delayed response when you step on the gas.

Another sign is when you notice that your gas mileage has dropped. In this case, you should check your air and fuel filter, O2 sensors, plugs and wires.

Other factors that should not be ignored are when the “Check Engine” light is on, and your car is having a hard time gaining speed.

If your car is experiencing one or more of these symptoms, you should not delay it and instead bring it into Kiefer Kia for a checkup.
