The 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 Limited models will soon be arriving in showrooms; and in a recent blog post video for Fremont Motors, automotive writer Lauren Baures takes one out for a spin.
"A soon as I heard that Fremont Motors Fiat, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, RAM in Casper, Wyoming had a 2019 RAM 1500 delivered I needed to check it out," Baures writes in her post.
New features on the 1500 include an upgraded transmission, a 12-inch touch screen display, flat back seat floor with an additional 4 inches of added space and the option of a full panoramic sunroof. Baures said the new 1500 is also lighter and more aerodynamic.
"It has been around 10 years since RAM Trucks (formerly Dodge) has redesigned the body for their half ton pickup," she writes. "In an ever competitive segment between truck brands in the industry, there’s a lot at stake when designing a completely new one."
In her video, Baures and Freemont Motors sales representative Casey Grisham explore the features of the new RAM Truck.
"This particular pickup that we drove is a ‘Limited’ spec, which is the top level trim line," Baures writes.
