Fremont Motors in Wyoming recently shared the top 10 most popular vehicles in the state in a blog post.
At the 10th spot is the Jeep Cherokee, a four-wheel-drive, compact crossover SUV with over 8 inches of ground clearance. The Cherokee’s latest Trailhawk model ensures optimum off-road performance while not sacrificing the driver’s comfortability, according to the blog post. Also, the latest Cherokee models feature Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go, Parallel and Perpendicular park assist, lane assist, rain sensing wipers, LED lights, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Alexa compatibility. The 2019 Jeep Cherokee starts at $26,190 MSRP for the 4x4 models.
In 9th place is the Jeep Renegade, a subcompact crossover SUV, which is also available with 4WD. The Renegade starts at $19,995 for the 4x4 Sports model.
At 8th place comes the Subaru Outback, which originally came from the “Legacy” model and has been around since 1989. The 5-seater Outback also features AWD, a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine or a 3.6L 6-cylinder engine, a 2.5L fuel economy, and 8.7-inch ground clearance.
In 7th place is the RAM 3500 pickup truck, which has a payload of 5,690 pounds, a 6.7L Cummins turbo-diesel engine, 4x4 and a4.10 rear axle. Also, the Tungsten edition is added to RAM’s heavy-duty trucks.
The Ford F-350, which costs approximately $100,000 and features aluminum bodies, is in 6th place. The F-350 comes with a 6.7L V8 Powerstroke diesel or 6.2L V8 gas engine.
Next on the list is the Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD, which came back in its original box-type shape in 2014. Last year, an aggressive-looking hood scoop was added to the Silverado diesel models. The Silverado 500 with either a Duramax 6.6L turbo diesel or Vortec 6.0L gas engine.
In 4th place comes the RAM 2500, which comes in such models as the Power Wagon off-road truck with a 6.4L Hemi gas engine, factory lift, disconnecting sway bars, and front and rear lockers. The vehicle also offers extra room in the cab.
Another Chevrolet comes in at 3rd place -- the Chevrolet Silverado 1500, which has a 5.3L gas engine and 4WD, and 22 mpg-fuel economy.
Another RAM also arrives at the 2nd spot -- the RAM 1500. The vehicle was named 2017’s “Family Truck of the Year” by the Greater Atlanta Automotive Media Association. Features of the RAM 1500 include class-exclusive RAM boxes and 4-corner air suspension, as well as the 3.0L EcoDiesel and a fuel economy rating of 27 mpg on the highway.
At the No. 1 spot is the Ford F-150. Named 2018’s “Truck of the Year” and “Most Innovative Truck of the Year” by MotorTrend and Edmunds, respectively, the truck includes a diesel engine option that will debut this spring as part of its latest redesign.
