InMarketSolution helps automotive dealerships and agencies drive sales without having to risk thousands of dollars on advertising.
“We do direct mail and email,” InMarketSolution Vice President Chris Clemenes told Mega Dealer News. “We pay 100 percent of the cost upfront. So there’s no money to the dealer unless someone comes in and purchases a vehicle in regards to our marketing campaign.”
The standard length of a campaign is 65 days and InMarketSolution receives commission on the number of cars sold only during that time period.
“We’re in it with the dealer,” Clemenes said. “The more cars we sell, the better it is for both of us.”
Clemenes said campaigns typically drop five to 10,000 direct mail pieces.
“We supply the dealer with every person we’re going to be marketing to,” Clemenes said. “They get first name, last name, postal address on Day One, that way if someone walks in (and) looks to buy a car, they can use that manifesto to either incorporate the commission on the back end or use it as a talking point.”
InMarketSolution represents over 1,000 dealerships of all sizes in all 50 states.
“We work with dealerships who sell 300 cars plus; we work with dealerships who sell as small as 50 cars a month,” Clemenes said.
Among the dealerships InMarketSolution has worked with are Pence Automotive and Larry H. Miller.
The company began five years ago and has been growing every year since then. Its retention is usually around 80 to 90 percent.
“The retention is what’s growing our business,” Clemenes said. “We usually have about 20 new dealers per month, but the retention number is kind of how you continue to grow.”
Clemenes said InMarketSolution wants to make its services known to more people.
“It gets easy and easier when you contact a brand new dealer say in Indiana and they say ‘Well, who are you working with in Indiana?’ and you can mention that you’re with the top two dealers in the state," he said. "It makes it very easy for them to say ‘All right, these guys are legit, let me give them a call.'"
