Anticipation is building for the arrival of the new 2019 Toyota RAV4 as the best-selling non-truck in the U.S. makes its debut in showrooms soon.

According to the Steve Landers Auto Group blog, the fifth-generation RAV4, which debuted this month at the New York International Auto Show, boasts the most powerful and customizable features of any RAV4 version.

The RAV4 has been in high demand with Toyota doubling its production to around 30,000 and 40,000 new RAV4s per month, according to the blog.

"Full of innovative design and safety features, the redesigned 2019 RAV4 seems determined to continue that sales boom," the blog said. The 2019 RAV4's exterior includes a wider profile, longer nose and shorter front and rear overhangs with 19-inch alloy wheels allowing for a half-inch ground clearance over past models. The new RAV4's exterior also features enlarged rear-quarter windows.

Interior features of the new RAV4 include a 7-inch Multi-Information Display and digital display in place of a standard rear-view mirror, and a video feed with an adjustable high-definition camera mounted on the rear.
