High-tech need not mean high-cost for Nissan lovers; the 2018 Nissan LEAF delivers a recently updated look in many flattering colors — particularly for its new EV model.

“The popular electric vehicle has been taking the industry by storm since its introduction, and plans to continue this pattern with a new exterior shape and design,” Nissan announced recently, according to Countryside, Illinois-based Continental Nissan. “The 2018 Nissan LEAF is the newest generation of the popular electric vehicle line, and is expected to offer an improved aerodynamic design that creates better efficiency, allowing drivers to drive further on a single charge. By offering less drag with its new design, it will take less power to move the vehicle, prolonging the use of its charges.”

Starting with a two-tone Pearl White/Super Black combination, the distinctive sporty appearance derives from the sleek black roofline’s effortless blending with the rear window color.

Pearl White delivers the same body tone but in all one color for a more conventional look. Glacier White offers the same uniformity but in a brighter shade. Brilliant Silver brings an elegantly high-tech appearance to the road, while Jade Frost completes the list of eye-catching metallic standouts.

Then there’s Gun Metallic and Super Black for a clearly sophisticated statement. Finally, Deep Blue Pearl and Scarlet Ember rule the road with unmistakable flair.

Continental Nissan is at 5750 South La Grange Road in Countryside, Illinois.
