The 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 and Toyota Tundra are both good options for those interested in purchasing a light-duty truck, and Andy Mohr Automotive recently published an article comparing the two in terms of power, safety and infotainment.

The Sierra 1500 saves on fuel, provides personalized post-collision assistance, and is ideal for those traveling with kids as the truck has a rear-seat DVD entertainment system that includes a 7-inch monitor and wireless headphones.

The Tundra provides more power, has safety features in place such as dynamic radar cruise control and pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, and includes navigation with predictive traffic and weather updates, music streaming, and advanced voice recognition features allowing drivers to do things such as vocally enter their destination address and search for nearby restaurants.

Both offer Bluetooth smartphone connectivity.

Bloomington, Indianapolis and Plainfield area drivers can schedule a test drive of the trucks at their local GMC or Toyota dealer.
