Chevrolet recently introduced the 2019 Chevy Corvette ZR1 in Dubai, showcasing increases in speed and power.

The Hank Graff Mt. Pleasant dealership said the 2019 Corvette features a 755-horsepower engine with 715 foot-pound of torque.

The new model’s LT5 6.2L supercharged engine includes an intercooled supercharger system as well as General Motors’ first dual fuel-injection system, which supports primary direct injection and supplemental port injection.

The 2019 Corvette set a record as the fastest production car to run on the 4.1-mile Grand Course West at Virginia International Raceway with a time of 2 minutes, 37.25 seconds.

Chevrolet and its parent company GM auctioned off two exclusive Corvette models for the benefit of charitable organizations supporting U.S. veterans. The companies raised a total of $2.325 million in donations after auctioning off a Corvette Carbon 65 Edition coupe signed by President George W. Bush and a 2019 Corvette ZR1.

Proceeds will go to the Bush Center’s Military Service Initiative and the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

Both institutions offer services and support for veterans and their families.
