Dodge recently showed off the all-new 2019 RAM 1500 truck at the North American International Auto Show, according to a post by Fremont Motors.

It's packed with new updates inside and out. A mild hybrid engine will be an option. The eight-speed TorqueFlite transmission is updated as well. It will still have an e-shift rotary dial. Updates allow for better towing capabilities to go along with increased payload and towing capacities. The new max towing capacity is 12,750 pounds, according to Ram, depending on other options outfitted on the truck.

Inside, the Ram 1500 has lots of tech features. A 12-inch touchscreen is available, along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, and a 360-degree-view camera with a bird's-eye display option. The Ram 1500 also has 4G Wi-Fi capabilities, a low-tire-pressure alert, active noise cancellation and Harmon Kardon premium audio.

All trim levels also have push-button start. There's also a power tailgate release button on the key fob. Even the keyfob battery life has been improved, lasting up to six years.

A larger cab means more leg room and even space for reclining rear seats. Loads more features are in store for this new truck that will be in stock this year.
