The 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander's infotainment system offers a number of features that are both useful and entertaining, according to Continental Mitsubishi.

The 7-inch smart touchscreen has a Smartphone Link Display Audio System that offers access to some apps, as well as the ability to stream HD radio and songs already in your phone via Bluetooth.

Android phones can access the system via Android Auto, which offers on-screen phone notifications, plus the ability to make and take calls, send messages, or use voice commands. Google maps are also accessible, as are real-time traffic alerts.

iPhone users will appreciate Apple CarPlay, which can make calls or send messages via Siri and voice commands, as well as its convenient steering wheel controls. Apple Maps can even predict where you may be going based on events saved in your calendar or on recent conversations. It can also show nearby points of interest that may come in handy, such as gas stations.
