Country singer Luke Bryan has teamed with Chevrolet to develop a concept Suburban great for hunting and fishing expeditions, according to a press release from Fremont Motors.

“Chevy has been part of our family and a part of our work life on the farm for as long as I can remember,” Bryan said in a press release. “If you were a Bryan, you drove a Chevy, and I’m a longtime Suburban owner. This partnership is a natural fit for me and this unique Suburban represents everything I and my family want for our outdoor adventures.”

Chevy asked him to develop a wish list for an ideal outdoor vehicle. He listed, among other things, lifted suspension, a roof-mounted equipment carrier and light rack, a brake upgrade, tow hooks and rear-facing third-row seats.

“There’s plenty of room (in this concept vehicle) for all their gear, along with added amenities that make the journey more enjoyable,” Chevrolet design director Todd Parker said.

The concept vehicle has the same engine and transmission as a regular Suburban, although the concept version has a locking rear differential and an 8,000-pound towing capacity in a special towing package.
