The Jeep Wrangler has been completely revamped for the 2018 model year, according to a post on the Fremont Motors website.

Engine options include 3.6-liter V-6 and a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder. Transmission options are an eight-speed automatic and a six-speed manual.

The newest Wrangler also is more aerodynamic than previous models. It weighs less, with aluminum parts such as doors, hinges, the hood, fender and even the windshield frame.

Apple CarPlay and Andriod Auto will be available as well for smartphone connectivity. Color touchscreens in several sizes will be available as well, stocked with the UConnect system.

Several different trim options will be available as well, for both the two-door and four-door Wranglers. The 2018 Wrangler Sahara and Rubicon models come outfitted with LED headlamps with DRL halos.

Numerous roof options are also available, such as a power canvas roof and a soft top called a sunrider. Several hard-tops are available, too.
