Ford F-250 Super Duty garnering praise

The 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty is getting great reviews from critics, according to the Andy Mohr Automotive website.

Car and Driver said that "the Super Duty has drastically improved upon every selling point that Ford was going after when it first debuted, reasserting its position on the heavy-duty throne,” the posting said.

Edmunds says the F-250 has better handling, an upgraded interior and more new features that offer convenience and the latest technology. Fast Lane Truck calls it "a torque monster,” according to the posting.

An optional turbo-diesel feature has a 6.7-liter Power Stroke turbo-diesel V-8 power plant that provides 440 horsepower. The standard power plant is a 6.2-liter 2-valve V-8 gas engine that can generate 385 horsepower. Either option comes with a six-speed TorqueShift SelectShift automatic transmission.

The Super Duty can tow a whopping 15,000 pounds with the V-8 gas engine or 18,000 with the 6.7-liter turbo-diesel engine. This truck can handle fifth-wheel trailers too, and can haul more than 4,300 pounds of cargo.
