Kia Motors America is celebrating the sale of its 7-millionth vehicle after record sales in June, according to a press release on the Ancira Kia website.
Kia said it has now sold more than 7 million vehicles in the United States since 1994, the release said.
The Kia Forte was the sales leader in June, with nearly 11,400 Forte sold.Overall, Kia sold 56,143 vehicles in June and 295,736 vehicles for the first sixth months of 2017, the release said.
Kia topped J.D. Power’s Initial Quality Study this year, making it two years in a row for topping the chart of all automotive brands investigated. This may have helped boost sales as well.
