Kia Motors America has new vice president of sales

Bill Peffer will be taking over as vice president of sales for Kia Motors America on July 24, Kia said in a release posted on its website.

Peffer will be in charge of regional and corporate sales for Kia within the United States, reporting to chief operating officer and executive Vice President Michael Sprague, the release said.

Peffer comes to Kia after working Balise Motor Sales, a large dealership group in the Northeast, and he has held a number of roles for automotive companies in the United States and Australia.

“Bill Peffer brings vast experience and a global perspective to Kia’s U.S. operations and we are pleased to welcome him to the team,” Justin Sohn, president and CEO of Kia Motors America, said in the release. “Bill’s commitment to dealers and focus on the customer experience are a perfect fit for Kia and his arrival will bolster our efforts to increase demand for our award-winning vehicles.”
