MileOne Automotive discusses the features that make a car "green" on its website.
Although most cars are gas-powered, green cars are gaining position on the market.
In broad terms, green cars are more environmentally friendly than those powered solely by gas, the website said. Conventional gas-powered cars burn fuel, and since gasoline is non-renewable, it will run out, someday. Burning gas also releases chemicals into the atmosphere, which contributes to global warming.
Green cars use less oil-based products than gas-powered cars. Green cars can be electric, hybrids, hydrogen-powered and even solar. The most common versions are electric or hybrid, such as the 2017 Toyota Prius, a popular hybrid.
