Northtowne's success built on its employees and customer loyalty

With seven locations in the Kansas City, Missouri, area, Northtowne Auto Group offers customers the service and options they are looking for.

Northtowne customers also will be pleased by the wide range of brands of fine autos the dealership offers, including Hyundai, Mitsubishi, Volkswagen, Alfa Romeo, Mazda and Fiat.

Northtowne started in the late 1960s, and its reputation has been fortified with over 50 years of positive customer feedback. Northtowne would not able to support customers to the same standard without the people working at the dealerships.

"Our people, obviously," Kyle Rookey of Northtowne Auto Group told Mega Dealer News when asked what has made the dealership successful over the years. "Although we started out as a smaller dealer group then expanded quite a bit, it still has that family-everybody-knows atmosphere."

That friendly environment is made even more remarkable given that there are roughly 700 employees at the auto group's various locations.

Besides vehicles, Northtowne also carries a number of products to enhance the experience of the customer, such as Zurich's F&I products.

Rookey confirmed that customers are highly pleased with the products offered by Northtowne, especially the environmental protection option, which includes a number of sealants to keep fabric, paint and vinyl looking excellent for longer.

"We have a homegrown customer retention loyalty program that we've utilized for about 15 years now," Rookey said, when asked how the dealership has been able to retain customers over the years. "Customers actually accumulate points based upon their service visits, which they can then use towards purchasing vehicles."

Having such a loyalty program rewards customers and they keep coming back, hich helps explain why Northtowne continues to be successful.
