Subaru of America said it has released a video on YouTube showing off the Subaru WRX STI Type RA NBR Special.
The car will attempt to set a new lap record speed for a four-door sedan later this summer at the Nurburgring race track in Germany, the release said.
The video showcases some of the development and testing done on the vehicle, including dealing with wet driving conditions.
Subaru said it plans to release more information on the production Type RA later this month.
