Kia Motors America sets record for sales of pre-owned Kias in April

Kia Motors America (KMA) has sold a record number of certified pre-owned (CPO) vehicles April, a a press release on the Ancira Kia website said.

Kia dealerships sold 6,953 pre-owned vehicles in April, with the Optima topping the list at 1,649 sales, based on tallies from Autodata, the release said.

”Kia’s record CPO sales are not surprising when you consider Kia offers the longest power-train coverage, excellent financing incentives, and a strong inspection process,” Eric Anderson, director of data products for IntelliChoice, said in the release. “This is why IntelliChoice awarded Kia the best popular brand CPO program.”

KMA’s rigorous CPO program only accepts Kias five years old or less, with less than 60,000 miles on the odometer. A 150-point inspection by a Kia technician ensures each vehicle is in great shape.
