Summer, and even spring months. can mean high temperatures that make vehicles more prone to overheating, and an overheated vehicle could mean time spent on the side of the road in scorching heat, the blog said.
To help keep the vehicle in prime operating condition, check the oil and other fluids. Change the oil, rotate tires and replace the coolant and other fluids if necessary.
Although you may not think about wiper blades much in the summer, winter weather may have left them in less-than-ideal condition. Wipe them off if debris creates streaks as they operate, or replace them if they do not function properly. Replacing them when they are in poor shape helps ensure the best visibility during hard rain and weather extremes.
Check the air conditioner to ensure it works properly for maximum comfort. If something seems amiss, visit a local service center to have a technician inspect your vehicle.
